Worldcoin (WLD) Price Forecast: 10% Rebound Puts $0.58 Breakout Zone for Bullish Continuation
Worldcoin (WLD) has entered October with renewed buying interest, climbing roughly 10% in 24 hours and pushing back toward the upper end of its recent trading range.
The recovery has also taken Worldcoin’s price above a long-running descending trendline, creating a new technical setup after months of weakness.
WLD was trading near $0.56-$0.57 after briefly approaching $0.58-$0.59. The move came with elevated trading activity, while the token remained substantially below its March 2024 record near $11.82. Even so, the latest advance represents a significant recovery from the 2026 low near $0.23.
Worldcoin Price Breakout Changes the Short-Term Structure
The recent move developed after Worldcoin spent much of the previous session consolidating between approximately $0.48 and $0.52. According to technical analysis shared by @MarzellCrypto, an hourly candle subsequently pushed the token about 6% higher, reaching approximately $0.571 before sellers appeared around the $0.545 area.

That reaction created an important test for the breakout. Rather than simply focusing on the initial price spike, traders are watching whether WLD can establish the former resistance area as support.
The $0.52 region has consequently become an important reference point. Holding above it would preserve much of the recent structure, while a decline through $0.50 could return the token toward the lower part of its previous consolidation range.
Long-Term Downtrend Finally Comes Under Pressure
The more significant development is visible on the weekly chart, where Worldcoin has moved above a multi-month descending channel. The pattern had kept the token under persistent selling pressure following its much higher levels in 2024.

Crypto trader @KelCypha highlighted the weekly breakout while noting that WLD had moved above its 50-period moving average. The latest weekly candle was testing the upper boundary of the long-term channel, making the closing level particularly important for determining whether the breakout can hold.
A move above a descending channel does not automatically establish a new long-term trend. Price can return below the breakout area if buyers fail to defend it. For that reason, a successful retest could be more significant than the initial move through resistance.
$0.58 and $0.63 Become the Next Technical Tests
Worldcoin is now approaching a resistance band between approximately $0.575 and $0.585. This area corresponds with recent highs and the upper Bollinger Band on the daily chart.
A decisive move through that region would expose the next resistance near $0.63. The $0.72 area represents a broader upside reference identified in recent technical analysis, but WLD would need to clear several intermediate levels before reaching it.

Technical indicators currently support the recovery. The daily RSI is in the low-to-mid 60s, keeping it below the conventional 70 threshold for an overbought reading. Meanwhile, the MACD remains positive, with the MACD line above its signal line.
The ADX is around the low 30s, suggesting that the prevailing move has meaningful trend strength. Other momentum indicators, however, are becoming more stretched, with the Commodity Channel Index above 100 and several stochastic measures in elevated territory.
Moving Averages Show a Broader Recovery
Worldcoin’s position relative to its moving averages has changed considerably during the rebound. The token is currently above its 10-, 20-, 30-, 50-, 100-, and 200-period averages on the daily timeframe.
The 20-period EMA sits around $0.47-$0.48, while the 50-period EMA is near $0.43. These levels provide potential reference points if the rally loses momentum and the token begins to retrace.
The distance between the current price and these averages also highlights how quickly WLD has recovered. A period of consolidation would therefore not necessarily invalidate the broader improvement in technical structure.
What Happens if WLD Loses $0.55?
The $0.55-$0.56 area has become the first important support zone following the latest advance. It sits close to recent intraday lows and short-term technical averages.
A sustained move below $0.55 would weaken the immediate breakout setup and could shift attention toward $0.48-$0.50. That area previously acted as a consolidation zone and also overlaps with several retracement levels from the latest swing.

Below that, the $0.43-$0.47 region provides another reference area based on longer-term moving averages and previous price action.
This creates a relatively clear technical framework: the market is testing resistance near $0.58, while $0.55 represents the first line of support beneath the current price.
Worldcoin’s Identity Ecosystem Adds Fundamental Context
WLD’s price action is occurring alongside continued development of the World ecosystem. World uses World ID as a proof-of-personhood system designed to help applications distinguish unique humans in an increasingly AI-driven digital environment.
The project’s Orb technology is central to its identity infrastructure, while the broader World ecosystem has expanded into financial and payment-related services through World Money.
The project’s long-term proposition is closely connected to the growing need for digital identity verification as automated systems and AI-generated accounts become more prevalent. However, the adoption of these products and their eventual impact on Worldcoin demand remain separate questions from the token’s short-term technical performance.
WLD’s Next Move Depends on Breakout Confirmation
The latest Worldcoin rally has changed the near-term chart structure, but confirmation remains important. WLD needs to hold the breakout region and challenge the $0.575-$0.585 resistance band before the larger $0.63 and $0.72 levels become technically relevant.

For now, the $0.55 area provides the key downside reference, followed by $0.48-$0.50 if the recovery loses momentum. On the upside, a sustained move through $0.585 would strengthen the current breakout structure and bring $0.63 into focus.
The sharp rise in recent trading activity shows that market participation has increased, but momentum indicators are also becoming more extended. That leaves WLD at an important point where either a successful retest or a period of consolidation could determine whether the latest breakout develops into a broader recovery.
